Sonic Soul Sauce is a music production and songwriting enterprise based in North Carolina, USA.  We collaborate internationally to create sophisticated, thoughtful and inspiring musical productions in several genres, primarily Electronic, Chill/Downtempo, EDM, R&B and Blues.

Our influencers go WAY BACK to 70’s R&B bands with kickin’ horn sections and phat basslines, like the Commodores, Kool & the Gang, Con Funk Shun, Isley Brothers, and EWF.  We got funkdafied by pioneers such as James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, Ohio Players.  Mash that up with tracking the evolution of House, Freestyle and the many sub-genre’s that followed.  Along the way, we picked up a deep appreciation for the Blues, Acid Jazz and the whole Chillout scene starting with all time fav Thievery Corporation.

Experience as old school club DJs helped sharpen our dance music acumen.  For years, we maintained the latest in-home studio DAW hardware and software, but really never got around to publishing our work.  Over the last 10 years, the traditional music industry has virtually burnt to the ground, and has transformed and democratized for all inspiring artists – like me, like you!
